This is the Luggage from Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels. The original designs for the luggage were done by Josh Kirby and later by Paul Kidby. The luggage is made of sapiant pearwood. It is mildly self-aware and will follow it's owner to the ends of the earth...and sometimes beyond. I originally did this model as a bit of fanart to break out my primarily sci-fi based art. The final model is composed of around 300 individual pieces all modeled in 3dsmax and rendered in Mental Ray.
